
I've built and grown Design department and was responsible for all Design Operations. I managed 10 designers in total.
My responsibilities were:
- Growing and evolving design team
- Hiring people with the right skills, which include: CV and portfolio reviews, creating test exercises, reviews and provide feedback to all candidates, making hiring decision, building and implementation of the onboarding process
- One-to-one meetings with designers
- Create company design standards and guidelines
- Creating efficient workflows
- Improving the quality and impact of design outputs
- Design reviews for the team
- Individual approach for motivation and high performance
- Conducting lectures
- Mentorship
